Founded in 1991, Rockland Marine Corporation is a premier, full-service shipyard and fabrication facility located on the picturesque Rockland Harbor in Rockland, Maine. Boasting 450 feet of secured dock space and three robust marine railways with impressive capacities of 1,160 long tons, 660 long tons, and 500 long tons, our facility is equipped to handle diverse maritime projects.
We are a leader in providing value added services to our customers by creating a successful partnership with them through the project process. We work hard to gain your trust and to guide you through the project, achieving the outcome you expect.

We take pride in our partnership with the U.S. Navy through our ABR contract, contracts with the Maine State Ferry Service as well as our recognition as an approved facility for the U.S. Coast Guard. These affiliations highlight our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional quality and service in the maritime industry, making us a trusted choice for a wide range of marine projects.
To support vessel repair and fabrication projects, Rockland Marine maintains fully equipped machine, fabrication, electrical, and paint shops. Additionally, the onsite stockroom carries a complete inventory of steel, piping, paint, and other marine supplies.
A HISTORICAL SHIPYARD
Purchased in July 1862 for $4,000. This shipyard, owned by the Snow Family for many years, was affectionately known as the “Snow Shipyards.”
